dinner and a movie

I went to New York - Manhattan - early in the month of May. The month that Sex And The City 2 would be released. I saw a lot of bigger than life film billboards and in Times Square, the first night I arrived, it was being promoted on tall CNN screens. There and took several photos because I guess I couldn't believe I was in that city. I do love that series.

Tonight my dear friend Moira came over for dinner so I could get her up to speed so we could go see S & C part 2 next week sometime. You see, believe it or not, she's not watched every episode four times like me. Moira's seen very few episodes as a matter of fact. So before the roast chicken, potatoes and asparagus was done, we started with Season 6 part 2 dvd and then S & C part 1 movie. We laughed and we cried of course. We see ourselves in parts of each of those women. Moi being more Samantha, me being more Carrie - without the amazing wardrobe. Anyways, great evening. And I realize I'm okay living in my wee apartment with no closet space, but only because I have a great, dear, lovely friend.
