Withnail & I

I subjected Moira to one of my favorite films last night. It's an inside joke type of movie. I don't think it's for everyone. But I love Richard E. Grant so I'm pretty much a sucker for this cult classic. I can't make up my mind which Withnail and I trailer I like more...maybe the first one.

Despite the fact that many of my friends can't make the same conclusion, one of my favorite films is Withnail and I.  I think I may make them play it at my funeral - not than I'm planning to have a funeral at the moment because according to my palm reading, I'm due to live a REALLLLLLLY long time.  Luck for you.  

Withnail and I's artwork is just as intriguing to me. The illustrator is Ralph Steadman, who as a political and social cartoonist, illustrated for Hunter S. Thompson projects like Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas.

I think it's amazing the resemblance between Paul McGann and Dylan Moran.



Come to think about it, it's really amazing how much Richard E Grant looks like Steve Jones.
