Billy Wilder's film, Some Like It Hot, was released 50 years ago. Hard to imagine.

It has also been 47 years since Marilyn Monroe's death.

Today, Marilyn would have been 83 years old.

Marilyn Monroe Highlight

Since I was about 12 years old I've held a fascination with Marilyn Monroe. I know I'm hardly alone in that but I would like to think I admire images of her that are not always the most published. I love these particular photographs because I think they capture her true beauty and her exquisite vulnerability. The last photograph my brother had framed for me and sent up from California. It's mysterious and she is almost unrecognizable as Miss Monroe...
