On the coast of the Pacific Northwest several quaint villages and towns make it very easy to enjoy slower pace living and natural surroundings. Every year my brother Chris and his wife Linda visit one of these towns in Washington state. Coupeville is adorable and simple. Each August long weekend they hold their arts and crafts festival. This is something Linda really enjoys. Artisans, painters, crafts people set up along the wooden sidewalks for blocks. This year I hope to join them. I love Washington state and particularly the west coast. Driving throughout the region is stunning year round, but I would imagine Summer is particularly fabulous.
